Quantum Politics
" [QP] by definition refers to the fact, or strongly suggests, that no system, no algorithm, no analytic methodology - not even ours - is going to remove the uncertainty and risk from future social and political events and trajectories.  Randomnesschaos, the complexity of variables mean we can't "predict" with any degree of certainty specific events or outcomes -- we can only forecast a bracketed range of potential outcomes.  QP helps the client not only manage uncertainty to mitigate risk, but also to use uncertainty as a way to identify opportunity.  In other words, not to get to Madison Ave-ish, we make uncertainty the client's friend.  That loops neatly back to the whole spirit of "quantum politics."

The challenge
The client asked me to come up with a logo that includes the letter “Q” or letters “Q” and “P” that is dynamic and represents technology in an abstract sense. The logo had to match QP’s vision and spirit which is to use technology to manage risk and uncertainty and not to eliminate them.

My approach
My aim was to design a modern and simple logo that can be adopted in other forms of design and for other branding purposes. I wanted the result to be unique and yet meaningful to the client.
Website Illustrations
My goal was to bring the right amount of joy, liveliness, and colorfulness to the relatively overwhelming subjects of science and politics. So, I combined geometric shapes with bright colors in the spot illustrations I designed for QP’s website.
To stay consistent, I designed icons for “Industries” section of QP’s website, using the same style as the illustrations.
