Touch is one of our main senses. And it's something universal to show love or affection. No matter what your gender, race or sexual orientation, we all use our hands to show and make love. It is something that unites us and brings us together.
That's why I chose the touch of hands as a symbol for the visual identity of the 26. QUEER Filmfest Weiterstadt 2022, using something different and innovative that relates directly to the core of the festival and that also escapes the clichés of objects and images related to cinema, such as film frames, projectors, cameras, etc. And that gives the festival a unique identity.

A series of illustrations was made and used in all the pomotional material and in the festival’s products. Using illustrations is also a diferencial aspect for the visual id. And with that, we can visually express this idea of equality, even because in the illustrations it is not possible to identify genders, races, body types, lifestyles, etc.
