Conference UX : Speaker Twitter Buckslip Design

This is a buckslip design I developed for a government conference. It's a buckslip, but I thought of it as something we did to enhance User Experience at the conference.

The aim was to encourage Twitter tweets during an annual US Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs conference. Government audiences aren't necessarily at the cutting edge of new trends and one goal was to increase tweets and audience engagement. We also used the conference Twitter account to make announcements, send out pictures and links, and answer questions (including Lost & Found!) during the conference.

We used this little card stock buckslip as a simple tool to help conference speakers know what the information was  (there were a LOT of smaller breakout sessions and this was our way of reaching each speaker), encouraged them to speak to their audiences about Twitter, and even helped them with what to say.

Our Twitter numbers for this conference hit an all-time high.
Here it is in real life. Our twitter stats from this conference against the previous year went up 33%. We thought this buckslip had something to do with that.
