Love Me Love My Bag
I was commissioned by kate spade and Yespai Gallery to create a series of illustrations for celebrating Chinese traditional Valentine’s Day. Now this cooperation can be discovered in mainland China retail stores and online platforms！
My creative inspiration comes from the Chinese idiom "Love the House and the Crow", which means "He who loves a woman, loves the crow on her house." In my opinion, "house" and "wu" not only evoke contemporary thoughts about "love" in tandem, but also provide a visual space and time to tell the story of the Valentine's day. When I named the work Love me love my bag, I quoted the English translation of "Love me love my dog", whether it is a bag or a dog, love all loveliness, all deserve to be loved.
