To test the technique and processes i did an experiment with photography and video. This gave me a better understanding of the variations I could create using this special effect.
To spin the wire wool without burning myself I put a whisk on a shoe lase for reach. After I filled the whisk with steel wool and set it alight. Giving it a spin around whilst taking a picture on blub setting should give the desired effect.
