yes, I mean food!

In 1994 I moved to London where my life took an unexpected turn.

With no experience, lots of drive and a touch of serendipity I landed at “St. John” where I was employed in the pastry and bakery section. The fatal attraction toward the main kitchen was irresistible and I started to get more and more confident working with screaming chefs and avoiding flying saucepans. After one-and-a-half years I was ready to face the testosterone-filled restaurant world and moved to “AlastairLittle” as Chef de Partie. It was only the start of a series of jobs in famous and infamous restaurants, “Kensington Place”, “The Chiswick”, “The Prince Bonaparte”, “Putney Bridge” and more “St. John”.

For four years I heroically presided over the motley kitchen crew of the “WestbourneTavern” and in the spare time I started to cater for art and fashion events. Finally,in 2002 I set up the company “fishsoup” with my beloved partner, the chef Matt Cranston producing from minuscule canapés to robust suppers for the likes ofPaul Smith, Benetton, Hugo Boss, Antony Gormley, Mario Testino, David Chipperfield and their jolly friends.

Not happy with just organizing, cooking and feeding, I also started some regular collaboration with:

Now my life has taken yet a different direction, but I WON'T LET GO my passion for food so easily.

And I want to make the best of my experience as a designer and my skills with food.
