"A festa dos sapos" é um livro ilustrado para o público infantil, desenvolvido por Mariana Menezes e Nicole Hafner, que apresenta a fauna e a flora da Floresta Amazônica. Tendo como referência cantigas, parlendas e contos populares brasileiros sobre sapos (Sapo cururu, O sapo não lava o pé, Festa no céu), a narrativa tem certa familiaridade temática com elementos culturais conhecidos e, ao mesmo tempo, oferece novos elementos: animais e vegetações do ecossistema amazônico a serem descobertos.

'The frogs' party' is an illustrated book for children, developed by Mariana Menezes and Nicole Hafner, which presents the fauna and flora of the Amazon rainforest. Based on brazilian cultural references, such as tales and songs about frogs, the book's theme presents a certain familiarity with known cultural elements from our country and, at the same time, offers new elements: animals and plants from the Amazonian ecosystem to be unveiled.
Argumento
A história consiste em sapos que partem em uma aventura em busca do local perfeito para darem uma festa na Floresta Amazônica com o objetivo de atrair a chuva. No percurso, enfrentam desafios geográficos, avistam animais simpáticos e desviam de predadores, com medo de serem devorados. Quando se dão conta, estão encurralados na beira de uma cachoeira com sombras assustadoras à sua volta. O que farão? Então, caem da cachoeira e, na foz, encontram o lugar ideal para a festa: uma linda clareira. As sombras que os perseguiam se revelam como todos os animais que eles encontraram no caminho, que se interessaram em participar da festa também. Os sapos, aliviados, finalmente começam a cantoria e atraem a nuvem, que se emociona e chora. A história termina com a celebração de todos os animais festejando unidos na chuva. A narrativa se passa no espaço temporal de um dia.
Argument
The story is about frogs that go on an adventure to find the perfect place to throw a part in the Amazon rainforest, in order to attract the rain. Along the way, they face geographic challenges, encounter friendly animals and avoid predators to not be devoured. When they realize, the frogs are trapped on the edge of a waterfall, surrounded by scary shadows. What will they do? Then, they fall from the waterfall into a beautiful lake with a forest clearing, ideal for the party. The shadows that chased them revealed themselves as all the animals the frogs encountered along the way, and their only intentions were to participate of the party too. Relieved, the frogs start to sing to attract the clouds. A cloud comes and watches the performance. Thrilled by the song, it cries and all of the animals celebrate united under the rain. The narrative happens in one day.
