Filimonovskaya toy is a craft from the village of Filimonovo, which is known for bright yellow-pink toys. My goal was to track the development of the craft, to analyze the existing plots of toys.
The book is 100x190 mm and consists of 192 pages. Also it has an open spine. The book layout is pretty simple and the font size used is 12 pt. Such size of a book and font were chosen to highlight the idea of small toys that fit in a hand.
I have chosen two main colors of toys (pink and yellow) and implemented them in the book. The number of circles on the inside titles signifies the number of a chapter. Typeface used in the book is Golos. Golos Typeface is designed by Alexandra Korolkova and Vitaly Kuzmin for Paratype in 2019.
