Bualá was made recycling cable reels. In this way, within a simple sparkle, something which wolud be considered as garbage suddenly comes back to life.
The famous One Thousand and One Nights (also known as Arabian Nights) collection of Middle Eastern and South Asian stories served as the aesthetic inspiration, hence the lamp's name Bualá.
Bualá is a magic lamp: for a cable reel whose destiny was the garbage, becoming a lamp is something unexpected. It's like a genie saying, make a wish... and Voià Bualá! (in Argentinian Spanish, the phonetic for Voilà would be Bualá)
