Argentinean Designer graduated at National University of Cordoba, Argentina (2007), studied at Ensci/Les Ateliers, Paris (2006). Design teacher at the Architecture, Urbanism and Design Department at University of Buenos Aires. Honored in several design competitions in Argentina and abroad: among others, granted Good Design Award 2012 Argentina, Finalist in Yellow Pencil D&AD Award Competition United Kingdom, Honorable Mention in Salão Design Award Movelsul, Brazil, second prize winner in the Designboom competition 'living simplicity' in furniture design hosted in collaboration with italian furniture manufacturer Vico Magistretti. She currently lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her products arise exploring the nature of discarded and non-traditional materials and their possibilities to generate new forms.
As well as that, the vibrancy of colors and materials are meant to reflect the cultural features of latin america. Each piece is completely handmade, using simple productive processes. Reducing material waste, using standard pieces and simple productive processes, environmental awareness is kept at ease as well. The goal this research is to optimize the usage of resources, using Design as an innovative and development tool.

"In my products, I generally combine elements which are not meant to meet: they come from different universes. Once gathered together they magically became a new whole. The fact is that depending on the way you look things, they can completely change their meaning, even their essence. I find this quite amazing. My creations arrive almost by chance, walking in the city:'I go straight, turn left, and suddenly something catches my eye. My designs take place in the streets, collecting "junk" that turns into a new raw material. And then, the products keeps traces of that other life that precedes: small scratches, stains, labels, annotations in pen. They have a past and their existences are recycled: they are the stories that generate other stories." Read Less
