"In my products, I generally combine elements which are not meant to meet: they come from different universes. Once gathered together they magically became a new whole. The fact is that depending on the way you look things, they can completely change their meaning, even their essence. I find this quite amazing. My creations arrive almost by chance, walking in the city:'I go straight, turn left, and suddenly something catches my eye. My designs take place in the streets, collecting "junk" that turns into a new raw material. And then, the products keeps traces of that other life that precedes: small scratches, stains, labels, annotations in pen. They have a past and their existences are recycled: they are the stories that generate other stories." Read Less
