Versterk Expertisecentrum is a startup of two women. They both have a lot of experience and idea's in the the social field. They both have their field of expertise and bring them together to help kids, profesionals and people with disabilities. Versterk means strengthen in Dutch. The logo was abstracted from the shapes of an emblem that you earn when you are among the best, and a dumb-bell weight.
The website is a staged project. In the startup period the site is as simple as possible to be able to provide early (potential) clients with enough information to go on. In the background more products/services are created and the website will be extended to fit the growing needs.
The website has a clean and simple layout. This is with a specific reason. The exact programs Versterk would be having was not defined yet at the time the site was designed. The site itself is meant as a tool to create outlines of the company services and to see how it would look presented on a real life website. This brings the proces of building the company identity out in the open in a really early stage. This strategy helps startups to create their identity in a very practical and adventurous way. It helps to "go for it" instead of thinking over every minor detail for ages before showing anything.
