inhetbegin.nl is a website for Henk Rothuizen. By being a pastor and writer for many years his archive of articles, studies and podcasts has grown. With this website he wants to make all this knowledge available. A true resource of knowledge and inspiration.
The style is all about large images and focus on beautiful article layout. The front page is inspired by oldfashioned magazines. Huge header with site title, large article image of latest article in the background and title with huge type in overlay. Main navigation (below In Het Begin title) not in a traditional list style, but presented as a readable paragraph with links to the various parts of the site.
The main nav is available through the site by a circular Navigation button wich changes in a cross when the menu appears. The navigtion is a colored overlay over the site to bring complete focus to the structure of the site. (style is not definitive yet, some work has to be done here..)
Articles start with a huge cover image and the category / header / subheader in overlay.
Layout of the article is clean and is completly focused on a pleasant reading experience.
