As an independent designer, I worked with this new venture capital group to develop their brand and collateral. The investment group was created because the high number of women-owned companies were not in balance with the number of female decision makers in venture capital. The name was inspired by the vast potential of the market.
NAMING | BRANDING
The name Vast was chosen to represent the vast potential of women entrepreneurs. Because there are few things as vast as the sea, a wave accompanies the logotype. Color palette and imagery were inspired by the ocean—the most expansive thing on earth.
PRINT DESIGN
The colors come together on the business card. The back of the card was’t being used for content, so I used the valuable space to reinforce the brand in a way that allowed them to write on the card when needed.
PRINT DESIGN
The sizeable brochure opened with a gate-fold for a grand feeling. The continuity of the cover image was maintained with a careful press check. The four rectangles used in collateral reinforce the nautical feel.
