As we become increasingly bombarded with information and stimulation, the world is becoming a loud, high-paced, stressful place.

The meditation/wellness pod is a temporary? space celebrating the power of silence.

A place for the public to unwind, find calmness, meditate, nap, just take time out…

Public pays to use the pod, minimum of 5 minutes for maximum health benefits (for example, $1 per minute, depending on expense of installed equipment such as oxygen equipment)

Can pay extra for a mediation teacher to join

Attendant minds the pod

Operates 9am-5pm

 

 

An inviting indoor oasis inviting green space, a space that encourages people to waste useful time in an ever-increasing stressful, busy, bustling city.

Like a park but one can be solitary, safe, free from onlookers.

One can relax and rejuvenate, meditate, stretch, breathe in oxygen rich clean air.

Escape the cold or heat depending on where the pod is located.
Take time out from work or shopping to breathe.
Once can reap the benefits from just taking 5 minutes out of their day to do nothing but rest and breathe which is beneficial for the individual but I also believe for long term societal health impacts and generally promote wellness and kindness.

Instead of one small pod, inhabits a already built structure ie an empty office or retail space

For the use of a number of people with an attendant inside

As above in terms of green space, climate controlled etc but people can eat lunch in there, benches to sit on etc
