aprile is like a child to me. It took me so long to hit "publish" and share it with you.
And now, as every parent does, I just wish it to explore the world on its own.

Inspired by the lightness of childhood and springtime, aprile is a minimal and apparently weightless hangin chair that brings playfulness to any kind of environment. This is why I wanted its communication to be just as surprising and fascinating.
Handcrafted in Italy and produced by Sublimio it comes in a limited edition of 30 (+30) pieces, just like the days of April. Each piece is a day of the month and a chapter of a unique story, called "30 days of aprile".
Designing its own "brand", I designed a minimal symbol to a visual synthesis of aprile’s shape and finishing options.
I wanted the photo shooting to bring the product to life, fully expressing its joyful spirit. The interaction between aprile, the person and the floating petals creates a minimal yet dreamy scene.
aprile’s bespoke website reflects the narrative approach by juxtaposing product information and excerpts from the story. Discovering aprile means taking a trip back in time, to more innocent days.

In order to present aprile to the world’s major architecture firms, we designed a high-end direct mailing, adorned with special 3d embossing applications.
