A Home Dining Concept for an Aging Population
Consumer trend research suggests that the population is living longer and will desire to "age in place" rather than reside in an assisted living community. The need to remain independent will be important within our society because of the rising costs of health care and housing.
The following research project aims to understand the basic activities aging users conduct in a kitchen environment. The domain area is the human factor or usability issues surrounding food preparation.
