Student project my second year at NKF.
The task was to make a magazine and 3 different covers to go with it.
We could choose our own theme for the magazine and I decided to make a magazine about fashion, focusing on sewing, vintage and redesign. It had to be a norwegian magazine for norwegian audience.
I wanted to make a down to earth fashion magazine that didn’t expose expensive clothing as many of the big magazines has a very expensive inspirational style.
We had to make our own design as well as take our own pictures or make illustrations, except from product photos.
The name for the magazine is "SNITT" and means incision.
To make a read thread I used to specific colors and typography through all the pages.
The target group for the magazine was women between 18-30 years old.
