I have been a reader of the Japanese community site (in Belgium) "Aoitori (=blue bird)" for years and gladly had an opportunity to make illustrations for its monthly magazine since the beginning of 2021.

The chief editor of Aoitori had been thinking of the publication since long before Covid pandemic started. As a result, this publication could provide the readers a lot of information about the places to enjoy or valuable / reliable advice under the pandemic in Belgium. I am sure that has brought some comfort to Japanese who have not been accustomed to the lives there yet.

I appreciate his effort in this changing situation.
