"Birds" solo exhibition

I had a solo exhibition "Into the B's world" about birds (that I adore💕) for two weeks last June at nearby art book store, Liburario (Shizuoka, Japan) to show my past paintings and sketches that I made after birdwatching in my daily life.
By the way the shop name was interestingly made like two words "library" and "Burari(ぶらり) which means casually" were combined, anyway it is a very lovely place.

The shop owners and I discussed how we display small bird illustrations and decided to put them on the wall like they fly freely🕊

Also we planned to have a special talk event by a specialist from our local wild bird association. It was a successfully wonderful time for us to know about each bird's habit.

This is the facade of the shop with beautiful blue evening light.
I did not use much frames for paintings because of wall endurance. But I think that made birds look more friendly and lighter.

Special event. Gladly many participants came and enjoyed the seminar as an opening event.
and plus, this is the video of my budgie "Peace" who triggered me to have strong affection to birds. She is singing a song with my guitar. I made it before the exhibition.
Anyway I am so happy that visitors had good time and also for me it became an important opportunity to reflect on my past works.

"Birds do not have national borders."
I' d like to admire birds from now on, too.

thank you for watching my works.
