The Lunar New Year, or also known as the Chinese New Year at this part of the region due to the multi-dimensional ethnicity, is a joyous occasion for all. For those celebrating, it heralds a new year much like the Gregorian calendar's, of both a symbolic, as well as a traditional one. I have a chance to get a short glimpse at the celebrations leading on the big day itself. Here are just snapshots of the celebrations at Chinatown, the popular bastion of everything related to the celebrations. Enjoy.
