The public relations firm based out of Grand Rapids Michigan hired Cornerstone Architects to renovate an existing building for their headquarters.  The success of that project and strong relationship they build opened the door for the Detroit office they were looking to expand into.  While consulting for Cornerstone I was tasked with working with some of the existing space planning and create a space with it.  It was very important for the client to incorporate artifacts and design details of some of their key clients throughout the space (nascar body, lockers with local teams, basketball hoop, seating from Tigers stadium).  Taking cues from the space in Grand Rapids, level changes, importance of ceiling plane, as well as custom detailing of doors and mill work were very important throughout this design.  In addition to the design development I was able to follow this project through detailing and documentation.
