This resolutely contemporary and figurative collection represents the essence of the artist's Courbisme. Painting life in motion, drawing the invisible that surrounds us, and to appropriate these moments as if time has been frozen : then these curves appear in the full act of creation, mutation.
These oil paintings on canvas then reveal to us the movement of air, liquid, water, wind and appropriate all these different energies in which we operate. As in life, the curves in these abstract paintings are always in search of the light, they cling, search, fall, rise and glide irretrievably.
These contemporary forms represent instinct and the life force seeking its way through an infinite multitude of atoms, like a man seeking his way among men. We are one with the world around us, we are not frozen and we are constantly changing. Every second our atoms leave us to create something else and are replaced by others. A part of us lives in these abstract curves and a part of them lives in something else...
Cette collection résolument contemporaine et figurative présente l’essence même du Courbisme de l’artiste. Peindre la vie en mouvement, dessiner l’invisible qui pourtant nous entoure, et s’approprier ces instants comme si on figeait le temps : il apparait alors ces courbes en plein travail de création, de mutation.
Ces peintures à l’huile sur toile révèlent alors les déplacements d'airs, les fluides, l'eau, le vent et s’approprient toutes ces énergies dans lesquelles nous évoluons. Telle la vie, les courbes de ces peintures abstraites sont toujours à la recherche de la lumière, elles s'agrippent, cherchent, chutent, se relèvent et glissent irrémédiablement.
Ces formes contemporaines représentent l'instinct et la force de la vie cherchant son chemin au milieu d'une infinie multitude d'atomes, tel un homme cherchant sa route au milieu des hommes. Nous ne faisons qu'un avec le monde qui nous entoure, nous ne sommes pas figés et nous sommes en constante mutation. Chaque seconde nos atomes nous quittent pour créer autre chose et sont remplacés par d'autres. Une partie de nous vit en ces courbes abstraites et une partie d'elles vivront autre chose...
