The Colossus Apartment

The Colossus Apartment
A new wave of true male interior
There is a stable image of a man and the perfect space he should live in. Our team wanted to break the rules and prove that a perfect place for a man doesn’t always mean to be characterized exclusively by dark colors, an abundance of metal, and a glass of whiskey on the table.
Concept and Realization
The design concept of this apartment was in implementing the idea of calm but subtle masculine manifestation inside these walls. We created a cozy and trusting vibe with a warm pastel palette, graphite glass partitions, a lot of custom items made of natural stone, and authentic art objects. Thus, every corner of this apartment does not attract attention with intensity but creates a confident atmosphere in which you want to stay.
Furniture
The sophisticated calm palette of the interior is entirely equipped with a variety of iconic Italian furniture. There are the luxurious Flexform corner sofa and B&B armchairs in trendy mustard color, coffee table and Poliform bar stools placed in the living room and kitchen area. As for the more private areas, bedrooms, there is Bonaldo bed in the master bedroom, which is known as a bed-sculpture due to its volumes and proportions; and Interia bed with an incredibly soft headboard in the guest bedroom.
The studio’s team was traditionally inspired by natural stone in this project and we not only designed an island in the kitchen based on our sketches, but also sinks, as well as decorative slabs for framing walls and window sills in the guest bathroom and master bath. Among the custom items, we also want to pay attention to what is made of glass. We made the entrance to the master bedroom from a solid wall of graphite glass, and also hid a bar in the living room behind it. And another piece of shiny surface is rotating mirrors as a partition that separates the hall and the dressing room.
