Prakashan is a type family that addresses typographic problems of multi-script settings for Odia and Latin, bringing variety and dynamism in style to both scripts. It could also be described as a not-too-serious type family with lively and vibrant shapes and an innovative modulated approach to the Odia script.

It was designed the intention of developing corresponding styles in Odia and Latin, supporting a wider range of typographic expression. The design for the Latin provides a set of individually drawn styles that range from a low contrast light to a high contrast black. The design for the Odia provides an alternative to the more predominant monolinear model. It manages to keep in the same family a contrasted regular style and a low modulated hairline style.
