I photographed the Venice Carnival in all its beauty

venice carnival:

I photographed the Venice Carnival in all its beauty, this party is pure magic, walking through the alleys and meeting the masked people I love, today it is the best known and most spectacular festival in the world and in the lagoon city, which turns 1600 years old this year.
But the first testimony of the Carnival in Venice is a document of the Doge Vitale Falier, dated 1094, which speaks of public entertainment, while in 1296 the day before Lent becomes officially, thanks to an edict of the Senate of the Serenissima Republic.
Nowadays the Venice carnival is a public holiday, all the streets of the city are filled with buffoons and masked people with sumptuous costumes, parades, dances, it is celebrated every year in the ten days preceding Lent, it is largely inspired by baroque atmospheres of the seventeenth century, as well as the splendor of the eighteenth century.
