Outside the (Rice Krispies) box

Combining the elements from a box of Rice Krispies and our own analog typographic creations, we made boxes to reflect three motives: persuasive, practical, and poetic. The goal was to use only typographic elements to accomplish this. This project challenged me to balance many elements in ways that are "outside the box".
Here's a link to my process https://hollybolly.dropmark.com/1155890
The physical, printed and constructed box is pictured above.
Above is my practical box design. This was intended to emphasize the informative aspects, and present it in a way that is easy to digest.
This is my persuasive design. With playful stripes and colors, this is supposed to convince the audience that the product is simple, good, and fun.
Pictured above is my poetic box design. I exclusively used hand lettering to create a scattered, personal feel.
An up-close shot of the hand lettering.
This is me celebrating the end of this project with a good ol' bowl of the Krispies.
Thank you!
