I was able to work with two other graphic designers, Megan Towle and Matthew Culp, to design a fun and playful typeface called Giraffe. Our final deliverable was to create a type specimen booklet. Our type booklet includes the full Giraffe character set, fun mockups to amplify the playfulness of the type face, as well as applications for the typeface. Our booklet is 5" x 7", contains 35 pages, and is 5-hole pamphlet stitched.

Sketching process. when thinking of giraffe we thought of elongated ascenders and descenders.
Digital process. After we sketched a few letters we liked, we then went and started sketching with the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator.

The full Giraffe character set. On top of the full character set, we created an ff ligature and an r that reaches out and over the next letter.
