Where do Piedmont businesses aggregate?

The map shows the concentration of businesses in Piedmont, parsing every town as a circle: the larger the size, the higher the number of businesses on its territory.
The region is compared to a sky map where every big spot seems to be attractive for the surrounding employment, drying out the nearest towns. For instance, this is the case of Alessandria, or Vercelli, where they have almost nothing around, due to the effect of business gravity.
Other factors seem to interfere with the gravity attraction: the mountain areas of Biella and Verbania act like constrainer of the phenomena, allowing medium business centres to grow around them, and the huge mass of Torino, combined withthe concentration of motorway links (represented as constellation), is so powerful to attract medium size spot too.
