UUK tasked us to develop a campaign for both external and internal audiences to change the way universities are currently perceived. Extensive research found that most people saw universities as places where people studied and didn’t realise the huge impact UK academics has on people’s lives. They wanted to show that we all benefit from universities, regardless of whether you’ve been or not.

We developed the campaign Made At Uni, bringing to life the impact that Universities up and down the country have on people, communities and their lives. University is much more than a place of education, it has far-reaching effects throughout the UK and the world.

Research undertaken by universities has played a pivotal role in some of the globe's most significant discoveries, whether it be in the field of medicine, technology or social innovation.

We developed a platform that celebrates the achievements and the wider impact their efforts are having in research, innovation, community and culture. The outlet for this was the creation of 'UK's Best Breakthroughs' – an identity, website, film and digital brochure compiling one achievement from every UUK member – over a hundred in total. These stories were hugely shareable and could be tailored to local communities as well as major new stories on Sky and BBC News.
