It dawns in the wetland and life begins to wake up.
The wetlands, one of my favorite spaces. In them I feel united with nature and time seems to stop completely.
It is important to highlight the vital role they play in terms of biodiversity and in increasing the availability of fresh water, by naturally purifying and supplying aquifers. In addition, they help regulate the regional climate and floods, mitigating the effects caused by droughts and heavy rains.
In Almería, where I live, these spaces are constantly threatened by the bad practices of intensive agriculture. Pesticides of various kinds are spilled on them daily, directly or by leachate. Its stability is in danger and along with it, the life of many migratory birds and plants that inhabit it.
These spaces should be valued more vigorously and we should protect them without the need for a law to impose it on you. It is our intrinsic responsibility as inhabitants of this planet.

The essence of a natural space lies in the group of beings that inhabit it and in the way they relate to each other.
The Platalea leucorodia, commonly called Eurasian Spoonbill, is a migratory bird that moves between Europe and Africa. It inhabits aquatic and humid areas. It measures between 80 and 93 cm long. These birds are bioindicators of wetland conservation.

Flying together, living the life, finding shelter below the sky.
