ADVE2292 GDP: Project 2 Brand guidelines
This project was to create a brand guidelines document, this will highlight the design "rules" essentially for our Costa Rica Office of Tourism brand. Laying all this out will help us understand the identity of our brand before creating the fact book, it is also used for other designers (which is also our target audience) to understand all the technical aspects and details of this brand.
Mood Boards
I searched around for existing brand guidelines to decide what I thought worked and was visually appealing. This gave my inspiration to start sketching. 
As I got into indesign, some layouts definitely changed, but this was a good start point for my ideas.
Type Exploration
Type exploration allowed me to try out font pairings that work for the guideline books typography. I settled on classic Acumin Variable Concept and Acumin Pro. It is easily readable at different scales and also has a ton of weights, italics, bold, lights, blacks, etc to play with.
My first step when getting into indesign was to set up my margins, guides, and bleeds which is showed above.
