We received a request for a mascot character for a gymnastics and soccer school for young children. The client wanted an illustration that could be used in a variety of ways, such as on their website and in the production of goodies.

The client provided us with the touches and business card data of the designs they had in mind. The client also specified the characteristics of the six characters and the accessories used for pose differences.
Based on the information we received, we developed ideas for the poses and costumes.

The rough sketches were created in Clip Studio Paint, and after working out the details with the client, the final sketches were created in Adobe Illustrator.
I used this method because I wanted to control the width of the line drawings closely in order to realize the client's finished image.

We were able to share as much of the finished image as possible with the client at the time of the rough draft, and we were able to complete the production smoothly without any corrections in the clear draft.

There were some problems during the process, such as mail not being delivered, so we added a function to check whether the mail was opened or not.

I am very grateful to the client for their cooperation in smooth production progress.

Personally, as a mother of one, I feel the importance and preciousness of early childhood education. It was very rewarding for me to be able to work on a project that is even partly related to this.
