Hakan Ashaboglu is an integral part of our team here at Modern Out West. While studying design and architecture, while he has experience with both digital and film photography, he hopes to merge his love and passion for the latter with his design work.

As a collector and craftsman, Hakan has proven to be invaluable to the work we are doing. He has proven himself to be very self-motivated, and critically aware of the importance of the work he is doing.

It excites us and saddens us that we will be saying, “See you soon,” to Hakan as he will be going back to Turkey this month but will continue to do work for us as our first international, Modern Out West’s team member!

Thank you Hakan for everything you have done for our little studio, from remodeling at the beginning of it all, to the preservation of historical works and research, thank you. We are very excited to see the work you create and the life you will lead, good luck in Turkey!
