This title sequence is an alternative option for a movie called Moon (2009) directed by Duncan Jones. A story of an astronaut Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell), who has a quintessentially personal encounter toward the end of his three-year stint on the Moon, where he, working alongside his computer, GERTY, sends back to Earth parcels of a resource that has helped diminish our planet's power problems.
The movie conveys several themes such as signs of schizophrenic disorder, loss of time presence, loneliness, appreciation or rejection of yourself, and the most important - cloning, a continuous process of a life cycle caused by a death and recreation of the same of it’s kind. This title sequence is developed to reflect all these themes combined in a short amount of time.
