Uto Brand Identity Design

Uto is a baby luxury gift shop established in 2021 in California, U.S.A.

We came up with the brand & design manual, package, logo, and name of to reflect her personality and product offering.

The Name Utö is the igbo word for "Sweetness" which is the central essence of the brand. 
The first logo option plays on the idea of a smile, which is an obvious signifier of a sweet experience. One which our brand aims to deliver.

The second pair of options were inspired by icons from the baby universe, the tooth in the first and the baby shaker in the second.
This logo option (which was the client's preferred) combines, iconography from the igbo caligraphy system of text known as Nsibidi and the name in letters.
