In December 2011 we have started working on the project for the on-line furniture shop for interior designers. The shop was supposed to focus on medium-sized objects (chairs, tables, light and accessories), style, up-to- dateness, reputation of cabinet-makers and competitive prices.

The project has never been launched, and we have been left with some interesting pictures, which look quite good even in 2013.

Everything started with the name. We suggested four versions (two in English and two in Russian):
“Lookroom” won. Then we made two versions of the logo:
Agreed on the glasses-looking one. The client had doubts and wanted to try the logo on the website together with the graphic elements, separate from them, and with their reduced version. Proceeded to the web-site: on the main page we have a catalogue with a filter straight away, adaptive page layout and loads of white. It became clear, that there was no need in a big emblem as it took a lot of space in the headline and didn't match the expressive pictograms of the menu. Therefore we made a mini version of the headline with a house-pupil. The client was happy and his doubts were gone.
Comments: we need to graphically simplify the heading and decrease the quantity of dissimilar elements and leveling.
Drop-down menu and the details seen while pointing at the object:
Pop-up with contact information:

Looks good now.

We want to separately highlight the classification switcher which appeared to be super funny. It's not obvious how to use it. However it would have been definitely used, definitely understood and definitely memorized, since the web-site was intended for designers :)
