This final project is a book cover I created for the book my dad has been working on that is about the life of my great grandfather. The images used depict my great grandfather as a young boy and as an adult. While there is little color, I created contrast and interest by blending brown/sepia hues with traditional black and white. I intentionally left the imperfections from the images because they add texture and create a worn stylistic look. I used a combination of masking tools and global adjustments to achieve the end result. This cover was created with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
