THE FIELD
This work imagines plants as functional cues in a field, akin to points roaming within the two-dimensional geometric space.
The function of this particular field is to capture the beauty of Russian fables, floral shapes paying homage to Russian folk art – Orlovsky “spis” embroidery and Gorodets decorative painting. The flowers are coordinates in the vast plain of sight, which is the Russian field.
