Problem: There are so many great shows in Seattle but it's hard to know which ones to attend.
Solution: Music Mine is a Facebook app that recommends local concerts based on users’ Music Facebook Likes. Music Mine allows users to discover new artists simply by staying in tune with users’ likes and needs.
Users: People that like trying out new music who turn to friends (or other resources) for recommendations. These users are not on the music blogs discovering new music on their own.
My Role: User Experience Designer (wireframes, flow, functionality, ideation, project idea).

After reviewing ideas with stakeholders, it was decided that the product needed to be more social so we decided to make it a Facebook app.

Two liked artists selected with similar concert results below.
On click of an artist card, the card flips and shows concert information for that artist (if available). This action also moves a thumbnail of the artist to the "View Concerts Similar to..." panel and displays similar concerts to that artist in the results below.
Upon clicking similar concerts, the page anchors to the top of the results so that the user sees the results right away without having to scroll.
User can remove an artist from the results by clicking the x on the thumbnail or dragging it off the panel. This action also flips the card back to the default image side.

Refine results by Venue, Neighborhood, Distance, and Ticket Price. Sort results by Date, Popularity, Ticket Price, and Friends Attending. The default sort is by Date.

Alternate Design
In this version, results for the artist show up in a pop-up carousel. The first view will show concert results for that artist (if available), and the proceding results will show concerts similar to that artist by date.
The idea was to not require users to have to scroll down. Users said they liked the way it looked but preferred the version with the results at the bottom because they wanted the flexibility to refine and sort results.
