THE BRIEF

idealo is one of the leading price comparison and shopping platforms in Europe with over 350 million offers of 50.000 shops and 1,5 million daily users. Still the brand awareness and recognition laid in 2017 extremely low. Simply put, it is a platform with a lot of traffic, and still users can’t remember it. To further contribute to that lack of awareness, idealo’s communications are inconsistent and not recognizable. Designers from different departments create assets for diverse stakeholders that look extremely far from each other.
To help with those challenges I developed a brand book with a set of visual guidelines that translate the brand positioning and strategy. This was rolled out through the all the design departments.
Since the implementation of our brand guidelines the recognition of the brand has more than tripled.
