Fish Lamp
Abbey Nix
CRT 101

My lamp is a low resolution styled geometric largemouth bass fish, made from laser cut wood. A magnet is attached to the inside of a 3D printed lure. When you toss the lure inside the fish's mouth, the magnet will activate the sensor, turning on the LEDs. The lure can be removed by pulling the fishing line.

This is the initial sketch for the lamp
This is the foam core version of the fish, all hand cut pieces.
Here is the arduino with the LED strip turned on. It has a magnet sensor, so when the magnet is near it the LEDs turn on, and when I move the magnet away from the sensor the LEDs turn off.
This is the final form taped together. Once completely constructed with the arduino, it would look something like this.
This is the fish somewhat put together with the LED strip lighting up, activated by the magnet lure.
Here is the 3D printed lure with the magnet inside.
