Nike Air Pegasus 1983 shoe illustration as poster advert with logo identity Nike “swoosh” logo to symbolise speed, power and motivation!
Initial and sketch ideas done on sketchbooks and paper of drawing the perfect trainer at angle and position, accurate logo design with swoosh logo, experimenting colours and contrast well together with this design.
Digital artwork created using easy apps and software with simple pens, brushes and colour palettes showing retro style and finding the perfect colour contrast for a great design.
Hardware using iPad Pro (12.9") and the satisfying Apple Pencil throughout the process which is easy to learn and create incredible illustrations.
Simple colour edit using Hue, Saturation & Brightness tool on Procreate to do editing for other colour theme, my best chosen edit is blue which looks similar colours to 1983 Mens Nike Air Pegasus edition.
Another simple edit for Social Media (Instagram) with the Nike logo changed from the letter "m" to "l" for like.
As this is a designed on A4 canvas is impossible to fit in any social media post which are square to fit with frame on software (1080px x 1080px).
I copied canvas drawing, insert behind layer and zoomed in for extra detail on all subjects, edited darker and faded to make that original image stand out in centre.
