Montana Journalism Review

Montana Journalism Review | Spring 2007
During my senior year at the University of Montana's School of Journalism, I served as the Design Editor for the Montana Journalism Review (the oldest journalism review west of the Mississippi River!).  Our theme for the 2007 issue was "rural journalism" and all the challenges associated.
I was responsible for creating a stylesheet and a set of page templates for the magazine layout.  Each of the other students on the staff had a story or two that they were either writing or editing for a non-staff writer - as those stories were finished, I worked with each staff member to load their text and images into the master templates.  I also had to complete the final pre-press check to make sure the magazine printed correctly.
