Logo Design - True National Technologies

The client is a VOIP networking company that desired a simple but strong logo utilizing their company colors of red and black. Each logo design is built on a different aspect of the company. In looking forward, I designed with the idea in mind that being an IT company they may, at some point, use web fav icons, routing application shortcuts, or even, at some point, create their own intranet applications - and the logo/icon design should be pleasing and defining at a large scale while retaining recognition at very small scales.

Design 001
Utilizes the T N T acronym as a symbol with color in the name matching the letter represented in the logo. The arrows and circle represent the cycle of outgoing and incoming information, the upper hemisphere slightly representing a phone handset and a universal symbol for wi/fi. This design degrades well and can still be recognized without color on a very small scale as shown on the left.

Design 002
Does not utilize the T N T acronym - is designed for simplicity. The simple combination of a landline handset with a wi/fi "cord" to communicate a VOIP network is straightforward, catchy, easy to identify although with a slight compromise in degradation.

Design 003
Utilizes the T N T acronym and, like Design 001, uses color assignment in the company name that represents the appropriate letter in the logo. This design capitalizes on the "national" aspect of the company name with a 'state of wi/fi' flag connecting the "N" and creates a very bold, strong, easily recognizable logo that degrades very well in low detail and small sizes.

Design 004
Follows the lead of the clients initial logo I was presented with for TNT in capturing two 'T's within the wi/fi symbol, and a handset cradled over the top. Each end of the handset along with the smaller circle in the middle and trail lines connecting the 3 represents the networking aspect of the company while the overall symbol also gives the impression of a communications antenna.
