Alira was designed with the qualities of natural flavors, refreshing taste, and calming effects in mind. The logo design encapsulates the brand's whimsical qualities and sparkling fizziness. The color palette and illustration style were chosen to emphasize the natural yet vibrant personality of the drink.
Process
Working with McAllister Brewing Company, I presented the team with initial mood boards to provide them with a variety of color palettes, illustration styles and typography. After discussing ideas, I sketched ideas for can designs, ultimately choosing the fruit peaking out behind mountains. The team wanted a vibrant watercolor design that reflected the seltzer's naturally calming benefits.
