At the beginning of the year, I was commissioned to create illustrations and design for the children's book 'Ich bin Biba, der Inselhase' by Thomas and Angelika Bernhardt. The couple takes their children to the small island of Fanø in Denmark every year. This island is not big, but it is very cozy, and there are all kinds of wild animals. Every spring and summer, there are many people flying kites, hiking, children and adults digging sand at the beach and so on. Inspired by this, the couple Bernhardt created this story about the animals on the small island of Denmark. This book was also a gift for their two children. 

The story is unfolded by the friendly owner of the danish island, Biba rabbit, and his friends. It tells a series of light-hearted island stories. The book is written in German, translated into Danish, and is currently sold in Germany and Denmark.
