Patternette is a sewing-pattern webshop — Aiming at private users, beginners and skilled tailors, it’s a fully customisable experience, where customers can manage every single detail in a pattern of choice. Offering a clear and user-friendly interface, visitors will be able to choose from pre-made templates (top fronts & backs / skirts / trousers / sleeves / collars), and from there, modifying every detail and finish, ending up with a tailor-made (technical) drawing, which can be purchased, then printed and be used as a template to cut the final fabric.
The logo mark mimics the features of a common clothes hanger, combined with the letter P, resulting in an elegant monogram, blending modern straight lines with classical serif properties (01). The word mark is build from the classy Ogg Serif font (02), modified with two custom tt ligatures (03), resembling a needle & thread, the fundamental tools used throughout the tailoring process.
