College art project required all students to design a landscape composite made of several reference images to fill in the foreground, middle, and background. Through this project, students demonstrated their understanding of depth and improved upon their own skills as artists. (Right Panel)

A separate exercise panel tasked students with establishing depth by atmospheric gradation. The exercise also tested students ability to render clouds along a basic landscape. (Left Panel)

Below are two photographs that were used as the composite for the right side panel. Color palettes were extracted using Adobe Photoshop's color picker tool. The palette was printed out and color mixing commenced with acrylic paints.
