Original Urban Themed Graphic Novel
CHALLENGE
Create an original graphic novel to appeal to an urban leaning demographic.
SOLUTION
Working alongside underground Hip Hop legend, Smoothe Da Hustler, developed a two part Action-Crime-Drama graphic novel which captured the underbelly of a fictional city. Worked with Smoothe to develop original soundtrack to promote the project.
Working with comic book creators, developed a visual direction which mixes photos, illustration, and digital paintings to create an original look that feels both cinegraphic and hand drawn at the same time.
