As a small tip for sketching, I like to work very small. It saves time and simplifies everything.

Sketching old works of the early masters is so much fun because they don't move & you have time to create your own interpretation...
Still-life from Jan van Husum It was a very dark interpretation :-)
People loves this work... so much people are looking at this still-life for long time,
from Jan van Husum....
This artwork is one of my favorites from Breitner. He paint a lot of woman in kimonos lay on divans. In so many ways... I loved it.....
Weeping willow in the park in Amsterdam.
Many people stood in front of the work and were happy that it was possible again.
Also one of my favourite works, because of the intense colours and strong pose of the woman by Kees van Dongen.
I wanted to see a work by Vermeer, it was the letter reader in blue
but no chance, the crowd was very high,
so I always had a few heads in between. But that was also nice ;-)
Portrait of Marie Jeannette de Lange from Jan Troop 1900.
